Description: A site that provides an endless amount of opportunities for entertainment. Based on cultures, languages, etc. of foreign countries (outside of the U.S.).
What does it promote: An interest in learning about other cultures, learning foreign languages, lasting friendship, and just plain entertainment.
Mission: To gather those who are interested in other cultures, languages, etc., and to introduce others into the marvelous world of languages, and being culturally-informed.
Vision: To see previous mission fulfilled.
Additional Notes: Although being interested in foreign languages, etc., isn't required, it is recommended so that you can take advantage of the whole forum! Currently, there are forums for the following languages: Nederlands (Dutch), Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Greek, and Russian. I am looking for people who are adept in Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Greek and Russian to moderate these forums, for I can only recognize which language is which, and, without a dictionary, I'm hopeless (and even with it, it's still hard). Hopefully, in the future, more languages will be included as the member count increases.
The forum is fairly new and I would appreciate if anyone could register and post on the forum!
